HISTORY OF BALAJI CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIETY LTD.
Balaji Co-operative credit society has been formed by Shri Rajiva C. Shetty, Chief Promoter, Shri Atmaram Sanas and Shri Vilas Rasal, co-promoters in year 2000, along with 400 members staying in and around Malad (E), Mumbai.
The purpose of starting co-operative credit society is to give various types of loans at reasonable rate of interest, promote savings amongst public, and benefit the public by offering attractive interest rate on deposits.
We are giving gold loans, vehicle loans, loan on LIC policies, flats etc. We follow simple procedures so that applicant avail the loan very fast. We give gold loans within 30 minutes of applying.
We are accepting fixed deposits, recurring deposits, savings deposits and daily deposits at attractive interest rate. The rate of interest is much higher than the rate offered by banks.
Balaji co-operative credit society is presently operating in Malad (E), Gokuldham, we are planning at least 10 branches all over greater Mumbai.
Our marketing executives are spread all over Mumbai and they can give you door to door service. In the last 10 years our turnover multiplied, we are having more than 2000 shareholder, more than 2500 deposit holders and large number of loan holders benefited from this society.
INFORMATION OF THE CHAIRMAN; RAJIVA C. SHETTY
He is the chief promoter and had worked as Hon. Secretary for five years in this society and is presently elected as Chairman. He is Post Graduate in Commerce (M.Com) from Mumbai University. Post Graduate Diploma in Administrative Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, He is also holding the Diploma in Co-operation.
He had 20 years of experience in Co-operative field, having worked in various co-operative organizations. Presently he is holding the position of Chairman of Miller Co-operative Credit Society Ltd (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd employees credit society) having more than 40 crores turnover.
He is socially respected and in the social field for the last 25 years. He is the vice president of Petroleum Employees Union, Vice President of National Federation of Petroleum Workers (It controls the work force of Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, ONGC, Mahanagar Gas and Tide water oil company) and also working committee member of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) at national level.
